I think the sound of by myself voice has finally gotten to me. Here it is, four years after I sat in order to write my book, (ambitiously entitled Reside in the Moment), two years after it was published, and countless book signings, speeches and interviews later, I'm finally to be able to take my own advice. I'm off to Italiana!

Two other mountain roads not to be missed would be the Yung Swerve Col de Turini as well as the Col de la Bonette. The Col de Turini is part of the special stage of the Rally Monte Carlo. For anyone who is after hairpins, this will be the way to look. Once you get up on the surface of the Col de Turini, you can stop your motorbike trip for a coffee and savor the take a look at the mountains and the rivers running in the valleys. But make sure you fuel up your sport touring motorbike with a way, as petrol stops have to be planned carefully on this road.
